Reviews Summary
Middle Earth dorms offer a range of living experiences from the newer Towers to the older Classics. The Towers are praised for their cleanliness, spaciousness, and modern amenities like a laundry room, study areas, and community spaces. The shared bathrooms are cleaned daily, and the proximity to campus makes getting to classes a breeze. On the other hand, the Classics are noted for being older with smaller rooms, limited outlets, and issues like noise from outside. Despite some drawbacks, students in Middle Earth appreciate the sense of community and convenience to campus facilities. Overall, Middle Earth provides a variety of living options with varying levels of comfort and convenience, making it a popular choice for students seeking a well-rounded college dorm experience.

Middle Earth Classics/ THE TRENCHES... Hall name: Balin Size: Triple Bathrooms: 2/3 stalls clogged at all times Good location, uncomfortable chairs, towers got it good. <3 JEDCAL, FDMS Guam, 671 aMAzing
I lived in the Middle Earth towers (a quad) but even though it’s arguably better than the classics, it was still kind of packed & crammed having 4 people sharing one bedroom living space. The towers truly are amazing and so clean but your roommates literally will make or break your experience since there’s no where to go if you have problems with them since it’s just one bedroom. Parking structure is a walk though and it can be dark at night. Bathroom is very clean since there will be someone who cleans it daily for you.
I lived in the Middle Earth Towers during my freshman year (2019), so the towers were freshly built and new. I had a triple room on the 5th floor, and I loved how it was laid out. The closets were nice and spacious, the bathroom (shared with another triple room) was cleaned daily and in great condition, and the towers are right in the middle of campus so it was easy to walk to any building.

I loved living at Middle Earth dorms. I was placed in the Towers so they were newly built and have new amenities such as a laundry room, study rooms, individual call rooms, community kitchen, and a common room area! The towers were quad dorms with a shared bathroom to another quad. I shared a room with 2 bunk beds, 4 closets and desks, and a bathroom connected right to our room. Our shared bathroom included two showers, two toilets, and two sinks.
Overall, living in Middle Earth is super nice and convenient. The restrooms and rooms are definitely more spacious and cleaner, compared to Mesa.
Middle earth classics: Overall, the room is a pretty decent size and I haven't really had any bad experiences in general. However, I do think the room as well as the building is quite old and there are basically no electrical outlets around the room so buying a power strip is crucial. In addition, the window blinds don't fully cover the sunlight so you are basically waken up in the morning if you don't wear a sleep mask. To be honest, this is actually a plus if you have early morning classes but kind of painful if you want to sleep in during the weekends.
I lived in a single in middle earth and it was honestly everything I wanted. Im someone that needs my personal space so a single was appropriate for me, and I was really able to balance my school and social life. The room was incredibly spacious, and I was able to decorate it to my liking. The bathroom was shared with around 13 other people, but it was manageable, especially since it's cleaned every morning.
I am currently staying at the Valimar hall and it's not too bad. It feels homey but the restrooms are sometimes clogged and out of paper towels, and it takes several days for it to be replaced.
If u live in the classics, I would say it is not that good. But I live in the towers, which is quoted as a “hotel” compared to the classics.
