"Room was awesome, roommate and hallmates were awesome, even when we got loud everyone communicated really well and no one complained. Room was comfortable, plenty of room for the two of us. Always stayed cool with the windows open, and also let in plenty of sunlight at all times. Bit far from campus but not a huge issue, I got used to it. Only gripe is the bathroom, inconsiderate people would yak in the sink and didn't clean up-it was nasty af. The other thing were the showers, someone would cut their hair or something and it was really gross. (I lived in the Phase 4 Classics in Lower Mesa next to Lot 5)."

"Lived in Middle Earth and since the dorms there are super close to campus, it was super convenient. However, my building was near the parking structure and there were some people who often drove through the parking structure super fast and trigger car alarms to go off, so I sometimes heard that in the middle of the night. Otherwise, no complaints. There was no AC, but it's in California and it doesn't get too hot until around March. All in all, a great experience and I was happy I got the dorm experience."

"Camino del Sol 4b/2ba flat (955/mo, utilities included). IMO better value than VDC's 4b/2ba apartment. For starters, you have the entire floor to yourself, meaning no shared walls with other units except for the unit on the other side of the building (but the shared wall isn't along the bedrooms, it's along the kitchen and bathrooms). Next, you have your own washer/dryer unit. It's the closest ACC community to the ARC, and the general amenities (study rooms, game room, community gym, pool) are all well-kept and modern. Parking is the only downside, as CDS doesn't have a parking lot or structure and you have to park at the ARC if you have a car. In all, yes, it's relatively pricey (Can't really escape that in Irvine). But honestly, I think it's worth it to not have to deal with the Irvine Company in the UTC, plus it's nicer than just about everywhere I've seen in the area."

"The room itself was quite large, single unfurnished in a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt. The apartment itself was a tad old and had a stench when moving in but I quickly spruced up the place. Campus Village is conveniently located on campus and was able to see Swagman on the regular. Parking is really nice at CV (free for CV residents) just don't park under the trees off of Bison. Gym there is nice, and has a clean/useful community center. Overall for older students I really recommend it!"

"I’m an undergrad, but was able to live in grad housing because of my daughter. “New” Verano is much nicer than “old” Verano. I love it! Super quiet area, clean, and close to the ARC and shuttle. I wish it were a little cheaper, though. I have friends that live in “old” verano who pay less rent for a bigger space."
