Is Hand College the best dorm at Stony Brook?
Students rated Hand College a 3.9/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
Suite style, kitchen in suite, rooms kinda small. Be prepared for flies and heat/dampness. Closest building on Tabler Quad to campus. Also close to Tabler Center and the lawn which was very nice
Pros: Having a kitchen is nice so you won't have to get a meal plan if you can cook. Close to Tabler Center to study and grab some drinks or snacks. Have a big lawn that is beautiful and pleasant. Good natural light depending on the time of day. Cons: Far from campus and your classes. Small room compared to the freshman dorms. Sophomore standing to dorm here.
