Is South Campus Plaza the best dorm at SDSU?

Students rated South Campus Plaza a 4.7/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Pros: - Personal bathroom - Cleanliness overall Cons: - 3 people shoved into such a small space, kind of feels like a prison cell

The room itself is fairly spacious. All dorms here are triples. Students who live in these dorms have there own sink and bathroom. It is conveniently located close to the student union, trolley station, and restaurants.

This dorm is by far the nicest freshman dorm on the SDSU campus. Rooms are spacious, high ceilings, big windows, and lots of natural light. Bathroom is a little dingy but it’s worth it for having your own. Located very centrally on campus, only downside is lots of homeless people/tweakers hang out near the transit center/building entrance.

I love the dorm room itself. A great size and you get your own bathrooms and sinks. You also have a little entry area which most of the other ones don’t have. So overall more room. Cons is that you do have to buy your own bathroom stuff such as toilet paper bc you have your own bathroom and clean it yourself but it’s not a big deal. Another con is that it doesn’t have a pool or special food like the other dorms do. But you’re right above the other food options is nice.

Best freshman dorm at SDSU for sure. The building is very new and clean, the rooms are big, really good natural light and high ceilings so it doesn’t feel cramped even with the bunks. It’s super nice having dining options right downstairs, but I wish we had access to a pool nearby like some other dorms. I’ve also heard other buildings are more social than South Campus but my floor was plenty social.
