It's like your own little shitty apartment. An important first moment for any young adult. I lived in a group of 5, one double one triple. In retrospect it's not a great dorm after living in other ones. But it's an experience I wouldn't trade for anything. A very fun time if you like your roommates.
I lived by myself in a two-person studio. the room itself was fine, a bit packed with furniture if the beds weren’t bunked. the appliances could use upgrading, as the stovetop wasn’t in great shape and the sink had some issues. overall, not a bad place to live if you only use it for basics. not the best for hosting friends due to limited space. having a private bathroom was a plus, though it never felt amazingly clean. I enjoyed how close to campus it was without being a huge hike. the huge windows right at walkway level were uncomfortable for a studio space, definitely sacrificed some natural light for privacy.
I lived in a 3-person studio, which wasn’t great since it was like a glorified dormroom and I couldn’t cook without waking people up, but Fuller does have non-studio apartments. Otherwise my studio was pretty nice, we had a living space with a couch, a full kitchen, a small dining table, and a bathroom that was the only private area. We each had a bed bunked on top of a desk, and a wardrobe. We had a spacious pantry that from some odd design choice was located inside the bathroom, but this oddity isn’t a common feature among Fuller Apartments—they usually are separate.
