It is pretty basic and not too modern. There is no air conditioning so when it is warm outside it can get pretty hot in the room. Lakeshore dorms in general are kinda far from everything but it is nice and quiet so it depends on which you prefer.
It's a basic dorm. I personally liked it because there are a lot of activities put on by the dorm staff that you can take advantage of -- for example, they hosted a blanket-making night where I left with a free blanket. Otherwise, it's not the best dorm socially, the floors are very hit or miss with social interaction. It's right next door to the dining hall, which was nice for me because I worked there. I met more people in my dorm through work than actually living in the same place, so take that as you will. The bathrooms and rooms are small but manageable. As far as Lakeshore goes, it's nice being close to the dining hall but try to get Dejope or Leopold before Bradley. Adams also has individual bathrooms, so I would go Adams over Bradle...
