Pros: The rooms are a good size and have lots of storage space. Kronshage is located in Lakeshore which is usually more quiet and scenic, but you can easily make friends to liven it up. The dorms are also close to dining halls. Cons: Kronshage is split into multiple 3 floor buildings, and not all of them have a kitchen and/or laundry. The showers don’t always have warm water, and there is no AC which is a real pain during the warmer months.

Cons: There is a high chance that you will not get laundry in your hall. The shower rarely gives hot water. Food and classes are quite a distance from here and the building itself is very old. The den is also a very small space to work in. There is not ac and it can get pretty hot in here. Pros: It is quiet and the rooms are pretty big. It is livable but there are many better options

Quiet area with big rooms and a nice view of the lake but our building had no kitchen or laundry, no ac, and unreliable showers. There are 2 dining halls nearby but if they’re closed it’s pretty far to find food.

Kronshage is an assortment of different buildings rather than one building. Not all halls have a laundry room or a kitchen. So if you do not live either in Gilman Chamberlin Showeman for a kitchen, or Showeman and Conover halls for laundry, you will have to walk a short ways to cook and do laundry. The rooms are quite spacious and comes with shelves (which are a tad annoying). The bathrooms are usually kind of nasty but are cleaned often and the showers are stall style. The location is quite far from southeast so taking the bus or a bike will be your best bet.

Pretty quiet dorm overall. Close to the lakefront path, which is great if you like nature. Dining halls are not too far away, only a few minutes walking. Not the most social dorm, but still plenty of opportunity to meet people. Bathrooms were not great. Pretty old and sometimes not too clean.

Single sex floors. You get lucky and get cool floor mates or you get screwed. Close to dining halls, far from everything else. Hot in summer, hot in winter. Like seriously boiling in winter.

Kronshage was overall a nice dorm. It is made up of 8 buildings and amenities in each building vary, but you have access to all buildings. Kronshage is located on the Lakeshore side of campus, which is known for being more scenic and quiet (take this with a grain of salt, this all depends upon the social scene YOU make for yourself with your friends). The location is great for engineering students. There are two dining halls near you, one in Dejope and Carson's Market. Noise wasn't really a problem ever. Bathrooms and other common areas were always kept clean. The buildings are old, but were redone in 2017, so all the furniture is new(er) and in good condition.

Kronshage is really 8 buildings. Depends on the building the amenities you get. Some have a kitchen, while others have laundry, except Conrad and Showerman, which have both and a computer lab. I lived in Showerman, and other than the weak showers, the location was very scenic and decently close for a Lakeshore dorm. Highly recommended for engineers, as it is really close to the engineering campus.
