The building is by far the nicest one you can stay at with heating and air conditioning, elevators, ethernet, and a laundry room with around 20 washers and 20 dryers. I stayed in a double single suite which is two singles connected by a bathroom and I was very happy with my room. Hard wood floors were definitely nice as well as windows and I had a sink in my room but I believe only the suits did. The building is the newest dorm and unfortunately because of that it is the furthest from campus and the buses can be a hassle where I would leave the building 30 minutes early and still might be late to class if I took the bus. But walking is easy and there are bikes which are free to rent and you can get to any class in 10 minutes on bike or skat...
+ Easy to use windows + Wood floors + Bathrooms are lockable full rooms within a larger bathroom; each lockable room includes a shower, sink, and a toilet and since the dorm was just built, they're still relatively clean + There's a rec center and dining hall right across the field (field is also a plus) + Plenty of small rooms within that have chairs and such for studying without having to go to the library or stay in your room - If you're prone to waking up late you WILL be late to classes because of the Buff Bus; as long as you make a 20 minute window for the bus you'll be fine - Walking to the bus stop in the cold and snow sucks - No printer
I had a first floor room. The ceiling was pretty high, which made the room feel bigger than it was. The room was very nice compared to other dorms I went to, probably the best I saw. The drawbacks were that my room was besides the parking lot, and the curtains were trash so at night there was almost enough light to read a book. It is also somewhat far away from campus, it is a pain to have to take the bus during the weekends when they don’t go around as much. But, if you don’t mind the buses, it is by far the best building and it is also the newest. Compared to my friends, I can honestly say that Will Vill East was the best dorm by far.
