In a good location by C4C and Farrand Market. There are also private bathrooms on each floor that you can use if they are open. That is pretty much it. It gets dirty, things are falling apart, and it is sweltering in the summer and even in the winter because you have no control over the heat, plus the no A/C. Washers and dryers are always broken, and people leave it so dirty. Kind of the forgotten dorm on campus that no one cares about. While it is in a good location, it can get loud and there is a lot of foot traffic around it. Arguably the worst dorm on campus, but hey, it builds character if you live in it.
It's ok. You're super close to farrand field, the grab and go + market, and the c4c which is nice. I faced farrand market which sucked because that area has heavy foot traffic and I felt like I had no privacy. I had my window open once and these idiots threw snowballs into my room. I like that they give you three windows. You get so much natural light it's awesome. BRING FANS! It gets so hot in the spring and late summer. I hated that they made us use the chey ho UPS center when Chey ho is literally right next to us. Each floor has one private bathroom and you can usually get it depending on when you go. My floor had a lot of social people but I didn't connect with any of them. They were all nice and friendly though.
Lived on the 3rd floor during my time there, and although the summer was god awful in terms of heat, I had no real issues with the dorm. It was pretty close to everything, my floor stayed pretty clean, and the place itself wasn't that outdated compared to Sewall or anything. A big benefit of my room in particular is that I got one with 3 large windows compared to the usual one and they faced the flatirons so I had a pretty great view. Willard wasn't the absolute best dorm experience you can have, but I personally had a pretty alright time.
Really close to classes and in between dining centers which is nice. But it is surrounded by some of the busiest walkways on campus, so you'll always here stuff from outside even at 3am. The building isn't the worst ever, but no one would call it nice. It also has a major bug problem and the halls begin to reek during the winter when less windows are open. Also, heating is based off of one rooms temperature per floori so many times you'll be too hot or cold. But being able to walk only 50 ft to grab farrand chicken nuggets at 11pm helps compensate for the crappy building.
