Libby Hall
based on 2 reviews
Libby is the shit. Especially because most of the halls are sectioned off by sex. This seemed like a downside to me at first, but truly it was great, all the girls felt so comfortable because it was just us and it totally helped us foster friendships/community easier. Also, if you're on a girl hall, the cops hardly EVER come by. They go for the boys and mixed sex halls. In general, the cops don't come to libby as much as they go to Farrand, Hallet and Cheyenne Arapahoe. There's a reason they call it "Lit-by" ;) - 4 years ago

Buckingham Hall

I had high hopes for this dorm coming in fall 23. I am in a triple which was an interesting situation. The bathroom on our floor N1 is disgusting. Some of the guys on that floor like to pee with the door open, not put the seat up, not flush, and not wash their hands. EW. The floor is sticky because of pee. the cleaning person gotta be fighting for her life when she cleans it. The showers are also gross, as expected. just bring shoes and you're fine. there are two tiny shower stalls and one big one with a sink so if you get the big ones in the morning it's not too bad. Overall it's pretty quiet, that kind of depends on the people on your floor, however. The commrap events are sorta fun, not many people go but usually they bring nice takeout food, so that's a plus. One major con is it's the furthest dorm from the central campus (other than Will vill) which has its upsides but it also takes a little bit to get to class, just something to consider. - 1 year ago

Williams Village North
based on 5 reviews
Had a single that shared a bathroom with another. So kind of a double? The room unfortunately felt like a long hallway. I liked the window energy saving feature. Couldn’t have the heat on and the window open at the same time kind of deal. The shared bathroom felt huge. Although could’ve had more storage options.
The public amenities were great:communal kitchen, large common area on each level. Getting cell reception in that building sucked though. You also had to be forced into their program and required to take a class and pay for it or pay for drop the class but still be forced to pay for it. It’s also in the very back of will ville-But at least it was right next to the tennis courts and field. It was easier making friends here than it was in my freshmen 4 person apartment in east sterns. - 4 years agoWe collected 5 dorm reviews for Williams Village North

Kittredge Central Hall
based on 6 reviews
Pros: Fairly newly renovated dorm, close to the C4C (3-4 min walk), the Planetarium is next to the dorm, it has a UPS store and the Kittredge Market within the dorm, has air conditioning, it's usually quiet, the dorm has various room types, it has the Global Engineering RAP, but students can choose to live for the traditional experience without being a part of the RAP program, there are also study spaces, and the dorm is also located next to the Kittredge Pond
Cons: Like the other dorms in the Kittredge Loop, this dorm is a little farther from main campus, it typically takes anywhere from a 10 to 20 min walk to get to most places on campus, such as the Rec Center or the UMC - 4 years agoWe collected 6 dorm reviews for Kittredge Central Hall

Smith Hall
based on 3 reviews
Smith is really great small community. They have little events with flock leaders and groups to help you get to know people. It’s pretty close to the C4C (main dining hall), and the planetarium is nearby.
In terms of location, it’s pretty far from main campus. Depending on what you would like, that may be too far for you. Personally, I loved coming “home” at the end of the day, and how peaceful it was. - 4 years agoWe collected 3 dorm reviews for Smith Hall

Arnett Hall
based on 1 review
I really enjoyed Arnett! It’s one of the newest dorms so it has air conditioning and heat —which really comes in handy. The rooms on the second floor have lifted ceilings so it feels very spacious. There are study rooms and laundry rooms on almost every floor. Additionally, because it is a smaller dorm that offer RAP classes, there is a great sense of community. The staff is constantly hosting events and activities. - 4 years ago

Williams Village East
based on 3 reviews
+ Easy to use windows
+ Wood floors
+ Bathrooms are lockable full rooms within a larger bathroom; each lockable room includes a shower, sink, and a toilet and since the dorm was just built, they're still relatively clean
+ There's a rec center and dining hall right across the field (field is also a plus)
+ Plenty of small rooms within that have chairs and such for studying without having to go to the library or stay in your room
- If you're prone to waking up late you WILL be late to classes because of the Buff Bus; as long as you make a 20 minute window for the bus you'll be fine
- Walking to the bus stop in the cold and snow sucks
- No printer - 4 years agoWe collected 3 dorm reviews for Williams Village East

Andrews Hall
based on 4 reviews
I lived in Andrews my freshman and sophomore years and will likely be continuing this year, my junior year. Pros: really nice common spaces, people are friendly, semi-recent renovation makes the rooms great. Cons: kind of a weird spot in terms of getting to classes, but not that bad. Buff Bus (on-campus bus) is great going from Andrews to anywhere but not as good coming back to Andrews. - 4 years ago

Reed Hall
based on 1 review
Pros:
Location - close to C4C/ engineering side of campus (just walk through hallett)
Front Desk - no front desk which is great if you like to party late and not have to walk by the RAs, sucks if you get locked out though since you have to go to Willard to get a temp
Amenities - kitchen/bathroom are small but still really nice to have, especially the bathroom, not having to share a communal is a dream!
Cons:
Size - one of the smaller dorms on campus (3 floors), so depending on what type of person could be a pro or con
Age - Reed is an older dorm that hasn't been remodeled in a while, so no AC and the rooms are not the cleanest. Also had kind of a lounge, but it's in the basement and out of the way if you aren't in the basement
Price: not sure on the exact price, but it is a bit more expensive than other dorms, mainly because of the kitchen and bathroom, but I think it is worth it.
Overall:
Reed was an awesome dorm to live in my freshman year and I would highly recommend others to consider this dorm! - 4 years agoWe collected 1 dorm reviews for Reed Hall
