Pros: Great location close to the dining hall and the Farrand grab&go/market. The quad is relaxing but it can be pretty loud on game days. On at least the first floor all the rooms have a bathroom in them which was nice and the closest had doors. Cons: It’s the smallest dorm on campus which sucks because there is only one common area which is a sad room in the basement. Only two washers and dryers for the whole building. Because the building is so old it has radiators that clink loudly when turned on.
Top floor Crossman, best floor Crossman. As long as your RA promotes an open door policy, this might be one of the best years of your life.
Pros: Everyone in the dorms is an engineer, you will be in classes together, you will meet people in your major. The dorm is right next to the engineering center, I would wake up for my 10AM at 9:50 and be in class on time. you're also close to dining halls/ Sometimes the RAs will organize fun events and dorm wide games. We had midnight breakfasts and the like If you like parties and the like, there will be parties in the dorm. If you don't like parties, I had a friend who had a party in her room every weekend, and another friend, who lived right across the hall from her, that went to bed at 10 every night, they never had any problems.
