the location is pretty central on the hill in terms of the dining halls, it's a bit far up the hill for those that mind walking uphill longer distances but it's not too bad, one major positive is that this building has air conditioning and most of the rooms have shared/private restrooms, the elevators are better than most dorm buildings too although I would recommend getting a lower floor because usually one of the elevators is broken
I lived in rieber vista freshman year and it was a pretty good experience! I had a plaza triple with shared bathrooms so I had 3 roommates and 3 suite mates. The plaza rooms are really big so we all had a lot of space to move freely and live comfortable but i wish there was more storage space. The bathrooms are really nice too since it’s kind of like a private bathroom but you share with 5 people. It was big, there were two sinks, 1 shower and 1 toilet. the toilets are cleaned once a week which is so nice! I would live there again!

slayful experience! rieber vista is great and i wanna live here again, unfortunately the elevators are often broken though.
I have been living in Rieber Vista for two years now and I really like it. Last year and this year I lived in a triple; even though there are 3 people living together it still feels spacious. The bathroom is good because the shower and toilet are separate which makes it more convenient for everyone living in the room and shared room. The location is nice because Rieber court is always so active and you get access to many dining halls such as Feast, Rende East and West, the Study, and food trucks. The only setbacks are the elevators that break down a lot and the rieber steps, but you get used to them. All in all it is a nice building and I would recommend!
Rieber Vista is pretty nice overall. the rooms are spacious and the AC/heating is good. They also get great natural lighting. The bathrooms are pretty good. The water pressure in the shower isn't great but it heats up really fast. It's also great that our bathrooms get cleaned every week. The building overall is decent. There's a nice study lounge on every floor. But the elevators break down a lot and most of the washers and dryers in the laundry room are out of service.
I have lived in these dorms for a year and a half now. They are very spacious and not too thrashed from previous residents. You can see the lines for food if you live on the terrace facing side. There are also some nice views at the end of the hallway on the top floors. AC is very strong and bathrooms are decent. There is a study lounge on every floor. Some cons are that the walls are very thin (I think this is all the dorms). Everything in this building is broken like the washers/dryers/elevators so be prepared! We have had to call maintenance for a ton of issues with our bathroom too like the sink and shower overflowing, light going out, and toilet issues.
I’m in a shared triple plaza on the second floor and taking dorm size, dorm quality, building amenities, and location convenience into consideration, I’d say Rieber Vista is a solid value choice for those looking for a triple. The shared triple option has a more appropriate dorm space sizing and is more worth than the private triple option in my opinion (for those in between)
The hallways are high key ugly but the location is good, there aren’t too many fire alarms, the bathroom had some persistently annoying but not dealbreaker malfunctions. The closet space is enough and the desks are nice.
Rieber Vista is a great building central on the Hill. It is close to Rendezvous and Feast, a take out eatery and dining hall, respectively, as well as the UCLA Maker Space where you can utilize sewing machines, 3D printing machines, and more. Each room has air conditioning and the hallways are wide and rooms are relatively spacious since they are suites. Bathrooms are private for each two rooms (the rooms are connected through the bathroom technically but no one uses this to go into the other rooms) that are cleaned once a week. They have two sinks, a shower, and toilet. One of the downsides is that it is kind of noisy on Thursday nights since it is in close proximity to many other dorms and people walk around nearby after and before partie...
