    Morgan House

    based on 2 reviews

    Morgan triple:
    - PRO: super nice to have a bathroom with house keeping
    - PRO: very convienent to have a munchie mart with groceries, rice, eggs, yougurt, fruit, etc.
    - PRO: decent for college cooking - game changer to have a kitchen if you are someone who even slightly cooks
    - PRO: across the street from the rec of you're into that

    - CONS: elevators are always broken
    - CONS: wouldn't say the entire building is necessarily clean, but I also haven't seen roaches like I did on Commons
    - CONS: location - pretty far from everything, but not as bad as a walk as you might think - 2 years ago

    Hank Ingram House

    based on 4 reviews

IMO it's the best dorm on commons. It's really close to commons, making it good if you want to grab a late night snack from munchie. It's the biggest dorm by amount of people so it's a little hard to meet everyone in the building, but you get to know your floor pretty well. Other than that the actual rooms are pretty nice with high ceilings, but other than being relatively newer it's not anything too special. - 4 years ago

    McTyeire Hall

    based on 1 review

A lot depends on the placement of your room and its size. I had a great experience with an average-sized single in a part of the building that was secluded, so the bathroom was not shared by many people. Great and convenient that the dining hall is in the building and the location of McTyeire is phenomenal for lazy people like me. - 4 years ago

    Sutherland House

    based on 3 reviews

My double room in sutherland house was definitely large and spacious enough for two people. the high ceilings were a luxury. sutherland is also at a convenient location to access hillsboro village (shopping&dining). however, it was a slightly longer walk to main campus. my year, i had quite a loud floor, and the doors had no soundproofing, so it was a little annoying at times when ppl were partying/drunk outside and i was trying to sleep/study. the common bathrooms were pretty clean, except for a few times. faculty was kind, RAs were kind, and security guards were kind. elevator broke down once, but only 5 flights to the top floor, which isn't terrible. laundry room and kitchen were usually kinda messy. but in the end, i had an overall positive experience at sutherland. i loved the commons experience as a freshman. - 4 years ago

One of the nicest buildings on campus, just a little farther away than some of the newer buildings - 4 years ago

    EBI (E. Bronson Ingram College)

    based on 1 review

EBI was a great location to be on campus, in terms of classes or off-campus locations. It’s right next to West End Avenue, and is within 10-minute walking distance of most Taste of Nashville vendors. EBI also has a dining hall built into the building, so it was very convenient to get meals. However, when the dining hall is closed, you need to go somewhere else. - 2 years ago

Amazing experience! I lived in the Transfer Mayfield with 9 other transfer students, and every single person is such a delight to be housing with! I am so grateful for this community :) - 2 years ago

    Kissam

    based on 9 reviews

    Kissam at Vanderbilt

Kissam Warren College is one of the newer dorms on campus in a residential college system Vandy is starting to adopt, similar to that of Yale. Within Warren there are singles, doubles, and suites that range from 5-6 people where each person gets their own individual single and a shared suite restroom, common area, and kitchenette. The size of the suite is very spacious and the single rooms are a good balance of personal space, but also space for friends to come and lounge around. In every Residential College there is also a Munchie Mart/Dining Hall where you can utilize meal swipes to get to go entrees, snacks, and exclusive to Kissam Acai Bowls.

I have really enjoyed my living experience thus far. My suite is really spacious and the private suite bathroom is an extra plus. I will say however that the process to get a suite is getting more competitive and is seniority based, so it might be harder to get into a suite. - 2 years ago

    Rothschild College

    based on 1 review

Rothschild College at Vanderbilt offers a convenient and comfortable living experience. It features a range of modern housing options, including singles, doubles, and suites, and a Munchie Mart for late-night snacking. The connected dining hall is highly regarded for its excellent menu options. While sharing a bathroom with other single occupants on the floor, the spacious rooms are sparkling clean. Overall, Rothschild College is an attractive option for students seeking a modern and convenient living experience. - 2 years ago

    Zeppos (Nicholas S. Zeppos College)

    based on 1 review

Zeppos is one of the newest Residential Colleges that has singles, doubles, and 4-person suites. I lived in a double before which was really big and the suites are also pretty spacious, though they only have kitchenettes. Living next to frat row is a bit loud on the weekends sometimes, but the proximity to Centennial and Satay are worth it. The community here is great as well and Dr. Bowden is amazing!! The dining hall is only sandwiches, pasta, and flatbreads but Roth is pretty close by. - 2 years ago
