Joe West Hall
based on 6 reviews
Joe West Hall is a generally average dorm hall. Rooms are not large, bathrooms are decent, and there is no air conditioning. While there are elevators, they often break down and are not a reliable mode of transportation during peak class times. Take the stairs instead, trust me! One of the best things about Joe West is that the Dining Commons and mailroom are attached to the building. There are laundry machines on the ground floor, but you have to walk outside the building to access them and there aren’t enough for the whole building, so you’ll often be waiting a while to get a machine. Each floor has a common lounge or study area, and the themed communities definitely have a sense of community. Joe West is the dorm hall to live in if you want to feel a sense of community and togetherness, but it is not nearly as nice as CV2 or CVC. The kitchen in Joe West is disgusting, I would not use it personally. - 4 years ago

Campus Village B (CVB)
based on 11 reviews
Overall, this is a great building. There are individual apartments, and the common area is pretty good, though a bit sparse in terms of furniture. While kitchen appliances are not modern, they function good enough for most people's comfort. There are three elevators on both sides of the building, so usually it is pretty easy to get up and down. There is pool, several conference rooms, and mailroom downstairs. Laundry room is inside. Village market is also downstairs, but you have to leave the building to get in. - 1 year ago

The suite is shared with 4-5 people, has a common area, shared kitchen and shared bathroom. The cleanliness all depends on your suitemates. The building doesnt have much like other buildings do but its close to the business building so convenient for business majors. - 1 year ago

Campus Village 2 (CV2)
based on 10 reviews
CV2 was a nice place to stay during my freshman year of college at SJSU. It was conveniently next to the gym, the business building, and the dining hall. Some Pros are the accessibility it had around campus, the cleanliness compared to other dorms, and the RAs. A Con is the slow and crowded elevators since I lived on the 10th floor, bathroom situation, and laundry room. The bathrooms were split into women on one side, men on the other, and co-ed on both. The laundry room was constantly occupied and there was always a wait. - 1 year ago
