Is South Campus the best dorm at UConn?

Students rated South Campus a 4.7/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Pros - Private bathroom - Living room area - AC - Best place on campus location/dining hall wise - Always an open washer/dryer - Multiple lounges/study spaces on every floor Cons: - If someone's in the bathroom in your room, you're screwed - no bathroom that is continuously open - Bathroom can get GROSS, even with weekly cleaning - black mold in the shower that won't come up, shower clogs insanely easily, one of our taps only worked sometimes, there's no basin for the shower so the water overflows into the bathroom even when the drain works - No water fountains in the building - have to go to Rome Commons for a water fountain

South is good, nothing really to complain about. Shower head is kind of short but as long as you aren't a giant you'll be fine.

Lived in a four person suite in Snow (shared bathroom, two double rooms and a common area). Best dorm location on campus in my opinion. Decent dining hall, has AC and is pretty spacious. The closets have tons of room in them which helps the fact that they don't give you dressers there. Several study rooms on each floor which helps a lot if you find you prefer studying not in your room but are unable (or don't want) to go to the lib. Great place to live, I loved it there.

Best spot to live on campus, imo. Dorm can get kinda hot if you have the heat set too high, be careful of that.

Great dorm room, living here again next semester and would encourage anyone that could to live here.
