Is Campus Village B (CVB) the best dorm at SJSU?

Students rated Campus Village B (CVB) a 3.5/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Pros include having a kitchen and bathroom that you’re sharing with only 3-5 people. Cons include having to walk 10-15 mins across campus if classes are on the other side.

I lived in a triple at CVB, and I have both pros and cons of living there. While the rooms were very spacious, it was still a cramped space for three people to live in. The beds were nice and it took up most of the space. However, the bathrooms were unsatisfactory in my opinion, and definitely not fit to have 6-7 people living in them. Overall, the bedrooms did not take advantage of its space and the bathrooms need a upgrade. 3/5

Great location, only takes me 5-10 minutes to get to class. However, junior double is a very tiny room to be sharing wouldn’t recommend.

Perfect location, building can be a bit outdated. The rooms are fairly spacious. They have a nice study lounge downstairs.

Pros 🙂 - My dorm faces the campus so I get sunlight and a nice view 🌆 - Stove, oven, microwave, and fridge are available ⏲️ - Large parking area 🅿️ Cons ☹️ - Small kitchen 🍳; makes it impossible for 2+ people to be in the kitchen at the same time - Laundry machines (washer & dryer) often don’t work and you have to go all the way down to first floor to do laundry 🧺 - The chairs provided in the dorm are so uncomfortable 🪑 - All three elevators are always packed during rush hours 🛗 - The windows in the rooms are hard to open 🪟
