Is Nicholson Gateway the best dorm at LSU?
Students rated Nicholson Gateway a 4.6/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
Try to get the stadium view, rooms are big, beds are big but hard as a rock, bathrooms are nice, shower water doesn’t get too hot Lounge area good, parking is good and the location isn’t ECA/WCA, but it’s good
Lived here 2018-2019 & 2019-2020 in Oxbow Hall, hands down best place to live on campus. Very pricey, but you pay for a nice location and good rooms. Anything broken or problematic can be resolved very quickly by Reslife. Definitely get a mattress topper if you live here. Living with a friend(s) makes it much better and we had parties all the time (if your RA isn't wack). The only downside was that the first year I was here, about a dozen to 20 cars were broken into all in one night. Since it's on the North side of campus you may have some sketch incidents but I never felt unsafe there. 100% live here if you can.
