Tufts University Freshman Dorms Ranked
Ranking the best sophomore dorms at Tufts University, according to students.
Number 5
Metcalf Hall

"The triple was a real triple and not a forced triple so it was big. I was on the laundry floor so that was super convenient. Split by girls and boys. Small building compared to other dorms. BEST LOCATION ON CAMPUS anyone may want to disagree but it's honestly in the middle of everything and super close to the library and dining hall. I hated the showers cuz they were low pressure and small but I think it was a pretty avg college bathroom. Doesn't have the best common rooms, no tv or ping pong tables or anything fun. Just some books and tables with chairs. I always spent time hanging out somewhere else." - 4 years ago

Hill Hall

"I’m honestly sad to leave! The rooms are probably the biggest on campus. The common room is huge as well but is definitely in need of new furniture. As a result nobody really uses it. My favorite pet is since the rooms are big, there are less people living on your floor. I had a great community on my floor for sure! The bathrooms are pretty nice but can get dirty quickly. The kitchen is not really great and not many people use it. I love the location. Close to the gym etc. " - 1 year ago

Court At Professors Row
based on 2 reviews
"The Court is new and very nice to live in. Each room has its own controlled thermostat, rooms are pretty large in size, and since it is only a year old, everything is still relatively intact and clean. Bathrooms are a bit gross, but I suppose it has more to do with the residents than the actual dorm itself. A couple of actual dorm-related downsides to the bathrooms are that they get extremely humid and moist, sometimes the buttons used to flush the toilet fall off the wall, and the side paneling has fallen off in the past. There are only two washing machines and two dryers, however, as of now, they are free to use. There are decent vending machines, and the communal arrays are very nice. I really liked living here 10/10" - 2 years ago

Miller Hall

"Anyone not giving this dorm 5 stars clearly hasn't been to the other freshman dorms on this campus. Houston and Miller are absolute godsends, please be grateful. The building fosters community excellently, so please get to know the people on your floor!" - 10 months ago
