Tufts University Sophomore Dorms Ranked

Ranking the best sophomore dorms at Tufts University, according to students.

  • Number 4

    West Hall

    based on 1 review

"Rooms are great especially the quads and triples. Some of the doubles are small, on the fourth floor they’re huge but the stairs are terrible. High ceilings, hardwood floors. Very drafty so it gets super hot at night and cold in the morning. Best location on campus." - 4 years ago

  • Number 3

    Latin Way

    based on 1 review

"I was in a four single suite. Downside is you have to clean your own bathroom. Included a kitchen. Comes with living room space furniture. Singles aren’t huge, though I saw some ten person suite doubles that were absolutely massive." - 4 years ago

  • Number 2

    Stratton Hall

    based on 2 reviews

"Stratton is a really ideal location in the middle of campus, close to most things. The building is newly renovated and very nice, with nice common rooms, bathrooms, and quite a nice kitchen. The rooms on the first floor are small (especially triples), but with high ceilings. The triples on the second and third floor are much larger. " - 2 years ago

  • Number 1

    Harleston Hall

    based on 6 reviews

"I lived in one of the larger rooms at the corner of the building. Had a pretty decent living experience—room was spacious enough for my roommate and myself and had decent views of the surrounding neighbourhoods, single-user bathrooms are great and cleaned regularly, and the elevator is a huge plus for move-in day (!!), laundry (which is in the basement) and regular usage. It's on the south edge of campus but it's not too far of a walk to the green. There wasn't much of a community on my floor, with residents mostly keeping to themselves unless they've selected adjacent rooms with their friends. It's recently renovated in comparison to the older dorms (at least within the last 5-7 years), so that's a plus. Shared kitchen on the ground floor is in need of an updated, and lounge areas are not very conducive for gatherings and hangouts." - 4 years ago
