Hodgdon Hall

You can have a good-sized double in hodg...unfortunately, I was in a forced triple. It was ridiculously small, but hodg is in such a great location I can't complain. There's laundry on every other floor and I never had to wait for a shower. There is also a private bathroom on every floor in addition to the 3 stall bathrooms. - 4 years ago

Harleston Hall

The location is nice, a bit far from most classes but Tufts' campus is small either way. It is right next to the fields and the basketball courts which is nice as well. The singles are decently sized except for one of the new singles in the first floor which is too tiny. The doubles are also nice. The best part about it is the private bathrooms, very nice. Common areas are decent, they just added new couches. Overall a nice dorm, would recommend. The kitchen however is nasty, no one really uses it as far as I am concerned. - 4 years ago

Huge rooms. Uphill. Slightly farther from the rest of campus but Boston Ave is very accessible. Tap water tasted a bit funny to me but there’s water fountains. Has a huge common room and a small exercise room clubs use. - 4 years ago

Metcalf Hall

Really the best location on campus. Easy access to food, library, campus center. I was in a double in the basement, which was a modest size. Rarely noticed a lack of space. Bathroom was an average college bathroom in my opinion, my water pressure was actually really good. Building recently renovated and looks and feels nice, but common room is a little boring sadly. - 4 years ago

Really the best location, super convenient. I lived in the basement, which wasn't the best. But the bathrooms are ok and the common areas are nicer than Harleston and Lewis. I would say it's the best sophomore dorm. - 10 months ago

Miller Hall

Rooms weren’t huge but there was enough space. Had to share one bathroom with like 20 other guys which isn’t ideal. People on my floor are really great though and the building is in great shape overall. - 4 years ago

Sophia Gordon Hall

Simply the best in terms of location and space for hanging out with friends (private access to suites unlike Wren or Haskell). Rooms are pretty standard, not as large as some of those CoHo ones. It’s relatively new and clean! - 4 years ago

Super big rooms, especially the doubles. Single bathrooms are beautiful. It was recently done over and so it is a very nice building. Unfortunately no elevator so if you live on the top floor (there’s 4 floors but the first floor is the ground floor, and then there’s 1, 2, and 3.) There are 2 accessible bathrooms on each floor, which makes me laugh since there isn’t an elevator so it isn’t really accessible at all. The building is also super easy to navigate, which is a major plus. I loved living here. - 2 years ago

Haskell Hall

I loved living in Haskell my freshman year! The dorm room doors were mostly removable and the doorknobs had a nice sharp aroma to them. The toilet in my suite exploded one day and we got to live in an aquatic paradise for a few weeks. Nothing beats the smell of wet carpet on a humid afternoon! There was also this awesome room with no windows and a 4-inch lime green shag carpet which was used for storing spare furniture, testing fire extinguishers and spices, and defecating. I believe that room is now a triple...whoever gets to live in there is a lucky ducky! - 4 years ago
