Hodgdon Hall

"You can have a good-sized double in hodg...unfortunately, I was in a forced triple. It was ridiculously small, but hodg is in such a great location I can't complain. There's laundry on every other floor and I never had to wait for a shower. There is also a private bathroom on every floor in addition to the 3 stall bathrooms." - 4 years ago

"I lived in one of the larger rooms at the corner of the building. Had a pretty decent living experience—room was spacious enough for my roommate and myself and had decent views of the surrounding neighbourhoods, single-user bathrooms are great and cleaned regularly, and the elevator is a huge plus for move-in day (!!), laundry (which is in the basement) and regular usage. It's on the south edge of campus but it's not too far of a walk to the green. There wasn't much of a community on my floor, with residents mostly keeping to themselves unless they've selected adjacent rooms with their friends. It's recently renovated in comparison to the older dorms (at least within the last 5-7 years), so that's a plus. Shared kitchen on the ground floor is in need of an updated, and lounge areas are not very conducive for gatherings and hangouts." - 4 years ago

"I’m honestly sad to leave! The rooms are probably the biggest on campus. The common room is huge as well but is definitely in need of new furniture. As a result nobody really uses it. My favorite pet is since the rooms are big, there are less people living on your floor. I had a great community on my floor for sure! The bathrooms are pretty nice but can get dirty quickly. The kitchen is not really great and not many people use it. I love the location. Close to the gym etc. " - 1 year ago

"The triple was a real triple and not a forced triple so it was big. I was on the laundry floor so that was super convenient. Split by girls and boys. Small building compared to other dorms. BEST LOCATION ON CAMPUS anyone may want to disagree but it's honestly in the middle of everything and super close to the library and dining hall. I hated the showers cuz they were low pressure and small but I think it was a pretty avg college bathroom. Doesn't have the best common rooms, no tv or ping pong tables or anything fun. Just some books and tables with chairs. I always spent time hanging out somewhere else." - 4 years ago

Stratton Hall

"Stratton is a really ideal location in the middle of campus, close to most things. The building is newly renovated and very nice, with nice common rooms, bathrooms, and quite a nice kitchen. The rooms on the first floor are small (especially triples), but with high ceilings. The triples on the second and third floor are much larger. " - 2 years ago

"Anyone not giving this dorm 5 stars clearly hasn't been to the other freshman dorms on this campus. Houston and Miller are absolute godsends, please be grateful. The building fosters community excellently, so please get to know the people on your floor!" - 10 months ago

"Simply the best in terms of location and space for hanging out with friends (private access to suites unlike Wren or Haskell). Rooms are pretty standard, not as large as some of those CoHo ones. It’s relatively new and clean!" - 4 years ago

"Super big rooms, especially the doubles. Single bathrooms are beautiful. It was recently done over and so it is a very nice building. Unfortunately no elevator so if you live on the top floor (there’s 4 floors but the first floor is the ground floor, and then there’s 1, 2, and 3.) There are 2 accessible bathrooms on each floor, which makes me laugh since there isn’t an elevator so it isn’t really accessible at all. The building is also super easy to navigate, which is a major plus. I loved living here." - 2 years ago

Haskell Hall

"I loved living in Haskell my freshman year! The dorm room doors were mostly removable and the doorknobs had a nice sharp aroma to them. The toilet in my suite exploded one day and we got to live in an aquatic paradise for a few weeks. Nothing beats the smell of wet carpet on a humid afternoon! There was also this awesome room with no windows and a 4-inch lime green shag carpet which was used for storing spare furniture, testing fire extinguishers and spices, and defecating. I believe that room is now a triple...whoever gets to live in there is a lucky ducky!" - 4 years ago
