The location can't be beat. The dining hall is literally downstairs and being in the middle of campus is ideal for classes. The room was a good size and pretty nice overall. The bathroom was nice in the beginning but got a little gross towards the end.
I loved living in Tower A. It was super central to absolutely everything and I honestly missed it throughout the rest of my college career. I lived on a floor without a lounge, so we didn't have too much of a noise problem. The only major issue was that, for a few weeks (I think?), we had raw sewage coming up through the drains in the showers on my floor. This did not occur on lower floors and I don't recall ever hearing an explanation. It was a bit of an annoyance to have to go up one floor to shower but overall not bad.
Towers has a lot of energy which is a fun dorm but it can also be really loud. Kinda small rooms but its freshmen year. The location is the best
Overall, I enjoyed living in towers. One con is that two of the elevators only go to every third floor. The rooms are small but my roommate and I were fine since we were relatively neat. It's nice to have the dining hall and laundry room right in the lobby. It's also a pretty central location which is great when you are trying to get around campus.
I lived here in 2019 and living in towers honestly wasn't terrible. The location was really nice because everything was right there. You are only a few minutes from Cathy, so even when it rains or snows it's not a bad walk to class. The size of the room is small- it's seriously a shoebox-but if you manage your space well it's actually sort of cozy.
One of the most unique dorms in the country. You have everything you need all in one building! Never have to leave your dorm, but you should go explore campus and the city. Common complaints that rooms are small and no kitchens. I didn’t mind, only needed a spot to sleep. Most of the time we played videogames together in the lounges on every 3rd floor. Small rooms just give you more reason to get out and explore! Also very centralized location
Overall I wouldn't have chosen to live in another dorm! Everyone on my floor was super chill, and noise wasn't a huge problem. The room shape took a little bit of time to get used to, but as long as you and your roommate use the space well size definitely won't be a problem. I never had a problem with there not being enough showers but keep in mind that some people will treat the bathroom like crap, and it will get very gross sometimes. It was so convenient being right above Market also! I never had a problem with the elevator bc I lived on the 2nd floor, but keep in mind if you live on any higher floors that only 1/3 elevators stop on every floor, the other 2 stop on every third floor! There isn't any sort of kitchen area, and not every fl...
Towers only advantage was the location. The rooms are tiny, enough for 1 person to be comfortable but with 2 people in there it was incredibly cramped. If you live on the lower floors good luck sleeping on weekends without hearing drunk students on the patio
