    Washington Hall

    based on 1 review

It's on the Quad which is the best area to live on south campus, but the dorms themselves are not it. - 1 year ago

    Cumberland Hall

    based on 3 reviews

Cumberland Hall at UMD College Park

I was worried about not having AC my freshman year but I did (which was awesome). Additionally, the building is definitely overall clean but slightly out of date with its technologies. The location is amazing, it's right next to the gym, La Plata beach, and the Y dining hall. Probably one of the best locations on campus for a dorm (unless you have classes on South). The only big thing is the bathrooms. Usually, things break (such as shower heads, soap dispensers, and I've even seen urinals. And hopefully, nobody pukes on the floor during the weekend cause that sucks. - 1 year ago

    La Plata Hall

    based on 3 reviews

La Plata Hall at UMD College Park

The location of La Plata is convenient with the diner, gym, and football stadium only a 2-minute walk away. The AC/heating unit is adjustable within the rooms and the room is moderately sized. The room itself and the bathrooms are what you would expect from any dorm- aren't horrible. - 2 years ago

    Leonardtown

    based on 1 review

Leonardtown is a very spacious apartment and the rooms are very nice. The only issue is that it is slightly far from things on North Campus. - 12 months ago

    South Campus Commons 3

    based on 1 review

The location is perfect. Right next to all the route one restaurant and the quad. Short walk to most academic buildings. The building itself is one of the older commons buildings but since the pricing is extremely affordable, it is definitely worth it. Spacious apartment but the appliances are old. The stove has 3 burners that don't work. The washer-dryer unit is also outdated but we are expecting an update for next year as we released the same unit. - 1 year ago

    Talbot Hall

    based on 1 review

Talbot Hall at UMD College Park

Having a shared bathroom with four people isn't bad. The rooms were pretty spacious and were split between two people. It was more than enough room for each person to have their own space and desk. We also had a living room that was decently sized. - 2 years ago

Newly renovated dorm, big clean bathrooms, nice lounges, however some of the dorm rooms are a little small. - 3 years ago

    Queen Annes Hall

    based on 1 review

Queen Annes Hall at UMD College Park

Nice small dorm near south campus. Rooms are pretty big with closets and mirrors on each closet. Walls are normal smooth walls but floors are a tan tile.

Showers are big and bathrooms are nice, lounges are definitely lacking, most of them smell and have really old and uncomfy seating.

Has air conditioning but isn't super controllable. - 2 years ago

    Pyon Chen Hall

    based on 1 review

One of the newest dorms with nice lounges and study rooms with floor to ceiling windows. Washers and dryers on every floor and "communal bathrooms" are individual bathrooms where each room has its own toilet, shower and sink. The location is really nice as well since it is literally right next to the new dining hall (Yahentamitsi) and the gym (Eppley). Rooms have clean white walls and wood floors. - 2 years ago
