I got a suite. So, I had a lot of comfortable space for myself. However, the bathrooms and common area really depends on your suite-mates and/or roommates. One of my suite-mates was super friendly, considerate, and caring. Another suitemate was super dirty and brought many strangers into the suites. So, it was overall a very bad experience for me. But I have also met a lot of students living in this dorm. So, I would still recommend dorming, even if it's here, at least once in your life. - 2 years ago

Ellicott Complex

The building is quite typical when it comes to amenities and everything as a whole but there are a few odd ins and outs when it comes to the living situation. For beginners, there is NO A/C. And I cannot emphasize this enough. THERE IS NO A/C. So be prepared for nights of literally no sleep. Overall the dorms are fine. I was in a room of 3. I kinda had this odd bed that was kinda thrown in just because. But hey what can you do. The dorms are well sound insulated so you genuinely can hear nothing but your own room. They clean the bathrooms every day so they are fine. Someone dropped juice in the elevator on the second day and they never cleaned it. For the most part, if you need somewhere to live it's not horrible, just bring a mattress pad to chuck on top of the mattress and A LONG IPHONE CABLE. That's all have fun in college! - 3 years ago

Governors

The building is confusing at first when navigating because every hall is the same and it is hard to navigate to the mail room from your dorm without leaving the building, but it is doable. - 3 years ago

Richmond
based on 1 review
Richmond is a lot nicer compared to many of the other buildings in Ellicott, and it was renovated not too long ago. The location is great, and easily accessible from multiple areas. The dorms feel small but are quite roomy and the lounges are nice and big. I recommend getting a mattress topper and another light for your room, because the beds are not the best and the lamps are really dim. Sometimes they lock the kitchen if it’s too dirty, so don’t rely on having it too much. Every bathroom is different but they’re are pretty good and the janitors try to clean most of the mess. Shower’s tend to get clogged and overflow so bring shower shoes that are platformed. - 10 months ago

It was nice better than college dorm rooms. I truly enjoyed the environment at South Lake. - M.N - 3 years ago
