"If it weren't for the fact that there is no air conditioning I would give my room a 5. I loved ellicott. Perfect balance of socialization and study + a lounge on my floor."

"The building is confusing at first when navigating because every hall is the same and it is hard to navigate to the mail room from your dorm without leaving the building, but it is doable."

Richmond
Rated 4.3 / 5 stars by 1 University At Buffalo student
"Richmond is a lot nicer compared to many of the other buildings in Ellicott, and it was renovated not too long ago. The location is great, and easily accessible from multiple areas. The dorms feel small but are quite roomy and the lounges are nice and big. I recommend getting a mattress topper and another light for your room, because the beds are not the best and the lamps are really dim. Sometimes they lock the kitchen if it’s too dirty, so don’t rely on having it too much. Every bathroom is different but they’re are pretty good and the janitors try to clean most of the mess. Shower’s tend to get clogged and overflow so bring shower shoes that are platformed. "

"If your window faces sunrise a lot of natural light will wake you in the morning. Overall best dorm."
