    Aliso at Cal Poly Pomona

Not just this dorm, but all of them - but sometimes they turn off AC for the entire semester even when it'd get extremely got in the 90's. We tried signing a petition and still got denied. - 3 years ago

    Montecito Hall

    based on 2 reviews

when I dormed in Montecito it was horrible. The 2nd floor, someone left rotting meat/chicken in a vent and it stunk up the whole floor for about 2 months. It was biohazard levels of bad. Then someone threw up in one of the bathrooms sinks and was left there for about a week. Showers clogged too. I do not recommend dorming at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 1 year ago

    Encinitas

    based on 1 review

The Encinitas hall had every basic necessity on the first floor such as a laundry room, kitchen, and study room. However, the building itself is very outdated because it's made of bricks. Encinitas itself is nothing special, but it got the job done. I fortunately got a double, and it was enough space for two people but it is doomed if you get a triple. - 3 years ago

    University Village Phase 2

    based on 1 review

The village is for second years and older. This phase includes four singles. As soon as you enter the apartment, you see the living room connected to the kitchen, and one hall where all four rooms are located. The benefit with the village is no mandatory meal plan, but the con with that is completely independent meal planning and prepping, The first room is the largest (almost 1.5 x larger than all the other rooms), given the option I would recommend that room first. The other rooms are smaller, all have windows and centralized air vents for cooling and heating. Also, the apartment comes furnished with a bed frame, adequate closet space, a dresser, a desk, and a bookshelf. The apartment itself comes with a laundry room that you can use for free, a rec center, a basketball court, and a swimming pool. The location of the apartment is unbeatable, just a street away from campus. The price for one single is on the relatively higher side in comparison to the off-campus houses and apartments available, but I like to think it's for the convenience of being so close to campus. I hope you never have to deal with the Village administration because they are quite rude, overbearing, disrespectful, and lethargic. The area is not the safest, but most college campuses run with that risk. - 1 year ago

    University Village Phase 3

    based on 1 review

University Village is right outside the main campus of Cal Poly Pomona. It is a short 15-20min walk to get to the majority of classes. The Phase 3 apartments in University Village offer single-room options at a very affordable price compared to the suites. The room itself is spacious and provides a relatively clean environment. However, as the building is old, there are sometimes problems with roaches. While living in the Village, the amenities offered are free printing and complimentary laundry for $1000 per month. - 1 year ago

    Secoya Residence Hall

Secoya Residence Hall at Cal Poly Pomona

I’m a freshmen living here and since these dorms are new, they’re really nice. I live in a triple on the fifth floor and it’s very big. There are common rooms on each floor with a TV that we could connect. There are also cords and you can adjust the air conditioning in each room. Overall, the dorms are pretty nice to live in. - 2 years ago
