"A double room was nice, decent furniture considering it's an older dorm. Location was good, roughly centered between the other dorms and not too far from the Dining Commons. Hall walls are painted concrete block, as are the room walls, and some are exposed red brick. Decent place to live while going to school; I was there for 3 years before moving to the University Village apartments. Making friends there was easy and probably the best part of being in school. AC wasn't the best but it usually worked. Will largely depend on the maintenance leadership and whether they get needed funds to keep things clean and running. Bathrooms were functional but often dirty, usually the student's fault as the maintenance staff tried to keep up. I'd definitely avoid a triple room in the older Residence Halls if you can help it. There is, of course, a lot of political silliness propaganda that the Housing leadership disseminates, but that's everywhere in college currently. " - 2 years ago
