Is Stuyvesant Park the best dorm at The New School?
Students rated Stuyvesant Park a 3.3/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
1. Room: I was in a triple flex room and in a suite with another double room. Considering the fact that we had a triple, it was pretty spacious with decent lighting. Amenities included a small dresser, bed, and a work table for each roommate. The suites come with a small kitchen, microwave and fridge that I shared with 4 other roommates. 2. Building: It's a pretty old dorm, especially compared to Kerrey. Amenities in the basement included a small gym, laundry room, work rooms, and a community room. While it is an old building, it's a dorm most freshmans opt for so it was fairly easy to make friends in the building. 3. Bathroom: All Stuy suites include a bathroom. Compared to other buildings where you have to share the bathroom with the whole floor, I only had to share with 4 other people. 4. Location: Not too far from campus. As mentioned, since it is a freshman dorm a lot of the times you walk to campus/dorm with other freshmans which definitely helped me feel safe when I first moved in 2016.
