Is EVGR Building A the best dorm at Stanford?
Students rated EVGR Building A a 4.4/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
EVGR A (now known as Duan Family Hall) has some of the highest quality housing on campus since it was a building meant for graduate apartments but was repurposed for undergrad. you'll be given a large living room with a fridge and microwave (no stove though) and your own bathroom, just be wary of the potentially low water pressure in the rooms, the long wait times for the elevator (add 5 mins to your class commute), and the lack of community among people on your floor / in the building
In EVGR you get your own restroom and living room space. However, if you're looking to build a community with your dorm, this isn't the dorm for you and it's kind of hard to meet new people. On the other hand, there are study rooms on every floor and dance/workout rooms.
