It's a really quiet dorm community with in-dorm dining for those of you who don't like being perceived when you eat alone. I live in a one room double which is really big, has three windows, and high slanted ceilings so it feels pretty spacious. The best part is that the gym is so close by -- literally across the street. At least it's closer to main quad than Govco, but it's still a hike to get places.
I'm partial to Murray because GovCo is where most of my friends live. Murray's proximity to the gym and built-in dining hall are nice, but otherwise it is an average dorm.
Location is decent but far from the main parts of campus. The facilities themselves are new and the dining hall is clean. Rooms are quite small.
The room is clean and well-lit. There is an awkward balance of 2-room doubles, 1-room doubles, and singles, but it's not a big deal. The facility is nice. There's a dining hall downstairs that only serves food during meal hours M-F, but then we don't have meal plan dollars. The community is nice! I'm friends with most people in the dorm. The bathroom is pretty clean. The location is great: right in front of the gym, very close to the Engineering Quad and Tresidder. However, kind of distant from Green Library and most East Campus residences.
A lot of people find that GovCo is far from the "social" part of campus, but I especially like it because it's extremely close to the gym and all the engineering classes. It's a lot more calm than the row or East campus, so I'm really content with living here. Plus, there's a lot of two-room doubles here!!
