Is Harbin Hall the best dorm at Georgetown?
Students rated Harbin Hall a 4.2/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
Best Freshman dorm: at the center of campus, very large rooms, and divided in a way that bathrooms don't get over crowded. Worst thing was that the laundry machines occasionally broke, and for a big building, that meant timing laundry day right.
Harbin is a great freshman hall. Great location, the layout is done in a way so as to encourage interaction and it has the best community out of all. You have a much better people:bathroom ratio, meaning it's often cleaner and less crowded than in other freshman dorms. There's no sink in the room, but there is a fridge and microwave. Pretty cozy overall.
Pros - More spacious (especially desk space), larger windows and better ventilation. Good location in the middle of campus. Cons - Elevators broke often so had to use stairs, sound travels very far so might be hard to sleep at night especially if you live in a cluster.
