Is Metcalf Hall the best dorm at Brown?
Students rated Metcalf Hall a 3.8/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
Loved the 4th floor of Metcalf (girls only) with three bathrooms (2 large, 1 solo) and a comfy lounge room with a whiteboard, desk, and around 5 chairs. The walls were orange which wasn't my favorite, but there was a water bottle fountain right outside my room which was great. The downsides were that some rooms were way smaller than other rooms (even though most were doubles) and that there were very low slanted ceilings that you can easily hit your head on. Otherwise, the view was really pretty and Andrew's Commons was just a walk away, and so was the Nelson Fitness Center, VDub, and Thayer Street. A bit far from the Main Campus and Libraries but it was okay. Very clean rooms and nice environment.
