Georgetown University Freshman Dorms Ranked
Ranking the best sophomore dorms at Georgetown University, according to students.
Number 4
Village C West
based on 3 reviews
"In my opinion, the best freshman dorm. All freshman dorms are gonna be meh, but VCW does a pretty serviceable job. Good location, right next to dining and snaxa. The private bathroom is clutch. The rooms are a little small but aren't too bad. Having an rho in the dorm makes getting packages really easy. Laundry is across the patio in VCE but hauling laundry to VCE isn't too bad." - 4 years ago

Harbin Hall
based on 3 reviews
"Harbin is a great freshman hall. Great location, the layout is done in a way so as to encourage interaction and it has the best community out of all. You have a much better people:bathroom ratio, meaning it's often cleaner and less crowded than in other freshman dorms. There's no sink in the room, but there is a fridge and microwave. Pretty cozy overall. " - 1 year ago

Darnall Hall
based on 3 reviews
"Darnall is notoriously the worst freshman dorm to live in location-wise. The path to the dorm is filled with roaches during the warmer months, and rats year-round. However, I wouldn't change my freshman dorm for anything. I met most of my best friends on my floor, the people who were there for me when I needed someone. Darnall has the best community, hands-down. If that's what you value over a private bathroom, apply to the Explore DC LLC! It's on the third floor and I loved being in it. Also, you live on-top of Epi's, a delicious 24-hour restaurant that accepts flex dollars! It's a HUGE plus." - 4 years ago

New South
based on 5 reviews
"Overall, pretty good dorm. The rooms are very spacious. The sink in each room is also great. Had one mouse and mold problems. The AC was also broken, but got ahold of maintenance whenever we ran into a problem. The main con is the cleanliness of the building including the communal bathrooms. Expect to see a lot of throw up and chunks of hair in the showers. Once you adapt, then you’ll be fine." - 4 years ago
