"I was in an "extended double," which was really just cramp 3 people into what would normally hold two. The bathrooms on each floor were split into wings based on sex with a common bathroom with toilet stalls and shower stalls. Laundry was located in the basement along with the kitchen. 1st and 3rd floors contained lounges with pool tables, foosball, and a TV on the latter. There was a chapel on the first floor for weekly dorm mass should you choose to attend. The staff and RAs were super cool and there were a lot of bonding activities I wish I took part of when I was there. It gets pretty hot during the first month of the academic year, so not having AC was dreadful. I liked that the dorm was right at the edge of campus, so it was convenient to walk to the bus. Walk to the center of campus at Franz Hall was maybe 6 minutes or so."

"Hall staff at the time was super weird, so I hope they’re changed out since 2018, but honestly the room was really nice. Everything was kept fairly clean and secure. There was only one, small kitchen, though. Quads are cool but if you’re concerned about security maybe opt for a double. The bathroom as shared between two quad rooms didn’t lock, so it was possible for people from the adjoining quad to come into our room."

"Lund Family Hall has AC, which is good for those warm months. It's a 1 minute walk to the gym. It takes 10 minutes to get to the Pilot House for food and 10-15 minutes to get to class, depending on the building. Since it was a new resident hall, the community wasn't too strong at the beginning, but they held events to strengthen that. The RAs and hall director were great. The bathrooms were great and clean. The dorm room was a good size. For a few months, we had 3 people in the room due to ongoing construction of the 3rd floor, but once that was complete, the room was good with just 2 people. Although it's far from the rest of campus, living in the newest dorm was a great experience. "

"Schoenfeldt was my home for three years and I loved it. It is a "co-ed" dorm, with men on one wing and women on the other (Fields Hall). All in one, same building, but associated differently...sort of a brother sister thing. It's about a 10 minute walk to main campus, but a 2 minute walk to the gym, so that's what I liked about it. There's a nice chill spot in the back to see the sunset every day and it's very close to a bus stop (to go downtown or St. John's to grab something to eat) and the mailing center (for books and packages). The closest eatery would be the Pilot House, which is also another 10 minute walk. There's a lot of common areas available, a kitchen in the basement, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a private chapel where weekly masses are held. Common bathrooms are actually super clean and spacious on each floor mainly because it is fairly new. There is also only two private bathrooms on each floor mainly in place for those who are disabled. The air-conditioning is the best during move in since it is super hot in August and they do a pretty good job at turning on the heater during the winter. Overall I had a really pleasant stay and I hope you do, too!"
