"Depending on which phase of UV you are living in, your location is either really close to campus or a little bit further away. Regardless, I think the walking distance from your apartment to campus should not be more than 10-15 minutes.
UV is not as nice as Canyon Creek Heights but it does have a cozy vibe to it (and UV comes unfurnished so you need to buy your own furniture). Most apartments are carpeted but they are slowly changing them starting from Phase 1 to wood floors. If there are any issues with your apartment, submit a work order and maintenance people usually don't take long to solve the issue!
