Rutgers University-New Brunswick Sophomore Dorms Ranked

Ranking the best sophomore dorms at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, according to students.

  • Number 5

    Crosby Suites

    based on 1 review

"A suite consists of 3 double bedrooms, one bathroom, and one living room. There is one washer and dryer on each floor which can be annoying if you don't wake up extremely early to do laundry. The six people to one bathroom ratio is not too bad just make a system that works for y'all. Also, the bathroom only has the shower and the toilet. There are two sinks with mirrors outside the bathroom so you can get ready if someone is occupying the bathroom." - 7 months ago

    Clothier Hall

    based on 1 review

    Clothier Hall at Rutgers-New Brunswick

"It's obvious that these dorm rooms were originally meant for one person per room. Having two people per room means you are sleeping head to head, head to feet, or other. With six (6) toilets per 54 people the bathrooms get very disgusting very quickly. Even if there were the proper number of 27 people per floor the bathroom maintenance would be a challenge. The building bakes on hot days so bring fans and HEPA filter machines. An immediate Red Flag before entering was when I went to look at the Google reviews and they were disabled for a building of 378 people (see photo). Pros: The location and people." - 7 months ago

"A very standard college dorm room, but an amazing location. Close to everything and the bus system from college Ave is amazing. Bathrooms can get a little dirty at times, but that’s expected, it’s cleaned nearly everyday. " - 2 years ago

    Hardenbergh Hall

    based on 3 reviews

    Hardenbergh Hall at Rutgers-New Brunswick

"Pretty typical double dorm room. The room has A/C and heating, communal bathrooms, and a lounge on each floor with either a pool or ping pong table. Ground floor lounges are great study spaces, and overall the building is in a good location right next to the Student Activities Center bus stop. " - 1 year ago
