Willard Hall
based on 1 review
Willard is the best dorm tbh. Very clean, nice rooms, Fran’s downstairs, and located very close to downtown. Only thing is it’s kinda far from North campus stuff but it’s not that bad. Can get to Tech in 15 mins. Would recommend living here especially if you’re mostly taking humanities classes. - 1 year ago

Shepard Hall
based on 2 reviews
Shepard is definitely a good dorm, probably the best on south campus. The rooms are a bit small so if you plan on having people over it can get a bit cramped. All the rooms have heating and central AC that you can control from the room. The bathrooms are pretty nice too. One of the best parts of Shepard is the study area/lounge in the basement. It’s really big and a great place to study/hang out! There’s also a full kitchen there and on the ground floor if you like cooking. - 2 years ago

Schapiro Hall

Nicknamed the “hotel on campus”, literally everything about this dorm is perfect. It’s by far the best dorm on campus in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The whole building is suite style so only 4 people per bathroom. - 1 year ago

Allison Hall
based on 2 reviews
Allison is usually grouped with the good dorms on campus and not without reason. The rooms are big, probably the biggest on campus. The dorm is the central one for South Area so it’s right over the dining hall which is very convenient. The worst part of allison is by far the bathroom situation. It’s a relatively new dorm so I don’t know if they just skimped on making quality plumbing but the bathrooms break in some way every week in the winter. When I was living there, our floor toilets ran backwards 4+ times during winter quarter. The pipes also burst twice. It’s a really annoying inconvenience so keep that in mind. Otherwise, I’m not a fan of carpet in the rooms but that’s kind of personal preference. When the bathrooms are working they’re perfectly fine. - 2 years ago
