I got a double in Church and it's pretty small but not bad. The bathroom kinda sucks though since it's shared between two rooms, and the bathroom doors have no locks. The shower is very tiny and the rest is okay I guess. It's really nice to be basically in the center of campus though, as classes and dining hall and stuff are as close as can be basically.
I loved living in Quad my sophomore year and throughout Arch. It feels like a Hogwarts-esque common and the proximity to campus is a huge plus. I highly recommend living here if you want that "college dorm" vibe. Depending on your location, you'll even get a great view of the trees instead of traffic. If you can't get into Church VI, get any of the Church buildings. The rooms are pretty small, however, and Quad is notorious for the outrageous number of fire alarms throughout the year. Overall, 8/10!
Although the room was fairly small, the closeness to academic campus and sage dining hall was invaluable. I'd recommend getting a suite instead if you can find roommates, but if you really want privacy the large singles are a good option. Check floor plans first to make sure you get the large and not the small single.
There are large singles and small singles- I had a large. Everyone who ever came into that room told me how cute it was. There’s two large windows, AC and heat, and plenty of space to move around. The only part I didn’t like was the bathrooms. There’s two stalls shared between 12 people, which can become a hassle in the morning. Some people were extremely messy. Also, I was unfortunate in that we didn’t have enough girls to split the bathrooms by gender, so I had to deal with beard clippings and pubes everywhere. The awful bathroom was absolutely worth it for the room and distance to campus.
