Creswell
based on 1 review
Really, only good thing about this place is the community and location. Be warned, bugs! So many stinkbugs and ladybugs. It was an absolute nightmare for me and my roommate. Also, these rooms are too tiny for two people. I will say the Launchpad (if you do the entrepreneurship community) is a nice plus, and their community is great. - 2 years ago

Lipscomb Hall
based on 1 review
Lipscomb Hall is one of UGA's oldest remaining dorms from the post-war construction era. It's notable for being in the Hill Community, along with Boggs, Church, Hill and Mell, and being centrally located. Steps away is Bolton Dining Hall and across the street is the Miller Learning Center. Although you won't get any of the niceties of Brumby, Myers or any other dorm at UGA for that matter, you're in a location that cannot be beat. If you care about having the shortest walk to classes, gamedays and downtown, this is the dorm for you. Not to mention, it's one of the least expensive dorms at UGA. - 2 years ago

Payne Hall
based on 1 review
- Located closer to North campus, so good access to Stanford Stadium, Bolton Dining, Miller Learning Center, and Student Center. Close to bus stops that can take you to other parts of campus.
- ~200 occupany, 4 floors (1st is male; 2nd/3rd are female; below floor is the Payne Basement, which has hangout area, laundry & kitchen) = You can make close friends, but it ultimately depends on you.
- Non-freshman dorm, so you can hypothetically get first dibs on room selection if you want to stay for upcoming semesters. Also is a dorm that lets you stay during breaks (e.g. Winter Break)
- Rooms are standard/on the smaller side. Can be spacious/small depending on what you bring.
- Communal Bathrooms, so bring shower shoes. Cleanliness is typically fine, although might be worse during weekends/breaks, as faculty doesn't come cleaning those days.
- Can be loud during Football games due to stadium proximity
- You share a mailroom with Reed Hall, so you'll have to do a small walk there. On the flip side, no front desk at Payne.
- No elevator.
- Older building. - 10 months agoWe collected 1 dorm reviews for Payne Hall

Vandiver Hall

You don’t have to share a room but it’s far from everything but the gym. Super standard unit but the kitchen is pretty basic (microwave sink and fridge) - 4 years ago

Busbee Hall
based on 1 review
The room, bathroom, living room, and kitchen are incredible! Really comfortable, the best you're gonna get on campus at UGA. However, its far away from the rest of campus, about 15 minutes on bus to north campus, and the dining hall nearby is probably the worst one. It also doesn't have a strong dorm community, like the other freshman dorms do, but if you want a nice, spacious room on-campus, its the place to be. - 4 years ago

Russell Hall
based on 1 review
Newly renovated dorm, on par with Brumby in terms of quality. Walkable to all classes (or just take the bus, 2 stops super close) and there is a bus that takes you downtown at night. The walls are pretty thin but the rooms are very nice albeit quite small. The bathrooms are very nice as well with a full length door for each shower and toilet, but they are technically communal. Highly recommend for incoming freshmen - 4 years ago

Brumby Hall
based on 2 reviews
Brumby Hall is wonderful as it was recently renovated! It is definitely on the smaller side but in terms of cleanliness, the dorms are clean, nice, and feel like a mini home that you share with your roommate. It can get a little suffocating since it is small but not bad at all for living in during freshman year! - 2 years ago

Building 1516
based on 2 reviews
This was an amazing dorm... Super spacious, personal bathroom, amazing lobby area and tidy study rooms. On the other hand, it is very far away from all of the main things that happen on classes such as classes, freshman dorms, Snelling(the 24/7 dining hall), Student Center, and Downtown. So it is a sacrifice that can be worth if you value living space more than living the dorm life and especially perfect if you are introverted. - 1 year ago
