Ranking the Dorms at UC Merced

Flooded before, now has stains everywhere. Though, has some niceties. Nice to live near the Pavilion, though the food is terrible there. Mail is practically on the other side of campus. - 4 years ago

Although it can get noisy the dorms are a pretty fun place to live. Would recommend trying to get to get the more spacious quads. - 4 years ago

If you're lucky, you'll get an RAs room which just means you get your own bathroom and a bit more space. You clean ur own bathrooms here so that's a plus if you live w clean people. There's one kitchen and two floors. It's pretty standard tbh. The other dorms look nicer and have more amenities like a game room but Mariposa is definitely chill and feels less crowded - 4 years ago

Dormitory with Fiat Lux Scholars, actually the most normal out of all the other dorms at UC Merced. People are nice. The hallways reminds me of a hospital, but overall really nice dorm. Room was very spacious for a triple and contains ample space. The dorm is also closed to The Marketplace which is very convenient when I am hungry. - 4 years ago
