The Summits Tenaya Reviews

In my opinion, probably one of the better dorms on campus. However, I also may be an outlier since I had to dorm here due to my Fiat Lux Scholars Program. With that said, I think the dorm experience was great because those who are in Fiat Lux dorm together and are generally very nice people. Met great roommates and friends, my dorm room was ridiculously big for a triple (loved it!), bathrooms were always clean (although communal), and we had elevators. Trash was right across the dorm, large common area with a TV, marketplace was right downstairs, own laundry room. The only con pretty much was the distance; Tenaya is the furthest from all the class buildings, dining halls, gym, etc. That turned out okay though since the walk wasn't even that... See more

Dormitory with Fiat Lux Scholars, actually the most normal out of all the other dorms at UC Merced. People are nice. The hallways reminds me of a hospital, but overall really nice dorm. Room was very spacious for a triple and contains ample space. The dorm is also closed to The Marketplace which is very convenient when I am hungry.
