  • Number 4

    Glacier Point

    based on 3 reviews

"I lived on the second floor with two other people and the room was massive compared to the other triples in the other dorms. I hated that we didn't have private bathrooms but at least there was a cleaning crew that cleaned for us. The laundry room is really packed on weekends unless you go early in the morning or late at night." - 4 years ago

    Half Dome

"Although it can get noisy the dorms are a pretty fun place to live. Would recommend trying to get to get the more spacious quads." - 4 years ago

    Mariposa

    based on 2 reviews

"Mariposa was probably the chillest dorm building everyone was really quiet. Only thing that sucks about Mariposa is that the laundry is not in the building so its kind of a walk just to do laundry. Otherwise it was really nice sharing a bathroom with 6 people and its pretty close to classes (like a 5 minute walk vs other dorms 10 minutes), the pavilion, super close to the dc, and the mailroom is pretty close too." - 4 years ago

    The Summits Tenaya

"In my opinion, probably one of the better dorms on campus. However, I also may be an outlier since I had to dorm here due to my Fiat Lux Scholars Program. With that said, I think the dorm experience was great because those who are in Fiat Lux dorm together and are generally very nice people. Met great roommates and friends, my dorm room was ridiculously big for a triple (loved it!), bathrooms were always clean (although communal), and we had elevators. Trash was right across the dorm, large common area with a TV, marketplace was right downstairs, own laundry room. The only con pretty much was the distance; Tenaya is the furthest from all the class buildings, dining halls, gym, etc. That turned out okay though since the walk wasn't even that much (10 minutes to get to the other side of campus) and I really did appreciate the walk back to my dorm." - 4 years ago
