"The location is good if you’re a STEM/engineer student and you’re right next to the gym, dining hall, library so that’s convenient. But the facilities and bathrooms are outdated and not the cleanest and the rooms aren’t the biggest. I would only recommend this dorm if you really care about partying because it can get loud on the weekends. Overall, one of the worst dorms on campus. "

"Pretty decent dorm overall. Not too bad not too good. If you get one of the bigger singles, you are one of the lucky ones. Good thing is it's pretty small. So not a lot of people you are sharing your bathroom with. But as it's an old frat house, the building is bad and bathrooms are not very nice. "

"If you are a stem student, this location is perfect. Rooms are usually spacious enough but some look on the parking lot so they don't have that great of a view. Bathrooms are trash especially during the weekend. The best part is that elder has its own dinning hall so it spares you effort when you don't feel like changing out of pyjamas to get food, although i must say elder dinning hall food is very average. Their tacos bar however is really good but only available certain hours of the day Monday to Friday. Overall, my experience was good except for the bathrooms. "

"Allison is one of the better dorms I've lived in. Rooms are decently updated. Right next to the south gym (minute walk), closer to all the food spots down south in Evanston, and the two dining halls underneath are great - best school food options by far at NU. Communal washer and dryer unfortunately but wasn't too big a problem especially if you wash your clothes at night. My favorite dorm, can't go wrong."

"Nicknamed the “hotel on campus”, literally everything about this dorm is perfect. It’s by far the best dorm on campus in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The whole building is suite style so only 4 people per bathroom."

"Shepard is definitely a good dorm, probably the best on south campus. The rooms are a bit small so if you plan on having people over it can get a bit cramped. All the rooms have heating and central AC that you can control from the room. The bathrooms are pretty nice too. One of the best parts of Shepard is the study area/lounge in the basement. It’s really big and a great place to study/hang out! There’s also a full kitchen there and on the ground floor if you like cooking. "

"Willard is the best dorm tbh. Very clean, nice rooms, Fran’s downstairs, and located very close to downtown. Only thing is it’s kinda far from North campus stuff but it’s not that bad. Can get to Tech in 15 mins. Would recommend living here especially if you’re mostly taking humanities classes. "
