Is Southgate the best dorm at Duke?

Southgate is newly renovated and it’s very nice. Smells very clean and there is wood flooring in the dorm rooms. Room sizes vary, but the doubles are above average and some are really big. Communal bathrooms are nice and very clean. No bug problems as far as I know. Central air works great. Nice, but small commons room with huge TV, comfy chairs, pool table, and ping pong table. Common kitchen is small but nice and laundry is down on the first floor. No elevator :(

It was very clean and spacious with a lot of modern / new amenities (table tennis, pool table, etc.) as it was recently renovated.
