Is Parkside North the best dorm at CSULB?

since it’s a new building, everything is clean. there are a lot of rooms for study or just hang out. but people don’t know how to clean up themselves so public space could be dirty sometimes.

I absolutely loved living at Parkside North!! The building was only 2 years old when I lived there so everything looked almost brand new. Clean hardwood floors, lots of study rooms that get PACKED during finals season, working elevators, rooftop deck, living rooms with TVs, and AC EVERYWHERE (minus some study rooms where it doesn’t work). Besides the bathrooms getting gross sometimes (unavoidable at a college dorm), I never had to wait for a stall or a shower. Also, NO BUGS since the building is new (and since I was on the 4th floor). GIRLS try to get 4th floor because it’s girls only which makes for much cleaner bathrooms and somewhat less noise lol. By FAR the best dorms on campus, if you get in be prepared to let ALL of your friends in to the study rooms and laundry room.

It was a very comfortable situation. At times it didn’t really feel like a dorm as much as it felt like a WeWork building. But it had AC in the rooms and spaces to hang out. Overall very good would say it’s worth the price
