Sage Point at University Of Utah

"when you live at Sage point you really have no idea how the spacing is going to be like depending on what room you get. I was placed in a double which was the perfect amount of space since a triple is the same size but with three people. The pros are that you don’t have a communal bathroom or sink it’s just with your roommate and your suit mates unlike other dorms. and one con would be how far it is from campus. " - 1 year ago

    Kahlert Village

"The Kahlert Village dorms are exceptional. It's the newest dormitory building on Campus and it comes with various amenities, a dining hall on the first floor, Adobe ($ADBE) themed study rooms, meditation rooms, prayer rooms , billards tables, all packed into one massive building conveniently next to the Student Life Center: The Campus Gym. Kahlert is within walking distance of a train that leads to downtown and is the second closest dorm to the University's Union center. One thing I forgot to mention, you can't stay over winter break unless you pay around $1400. that's $1400 for 3 weeks, maybe more. Think about that Skiers.! I expect a recession to occur shortly after writing this so the price may differ drastically. This fee is different from Lassonde, where you don't have to pay to stay over winter break. Also, rooms will be searched during winter break. It is important to mention that there are ADA compliant rooms and they're big, occasionally administered to students who quite frankly are not disabled in anyway, shape, or form. My bathroom that suitemates shared with me and my roommates would fail to flush after one flush, I dealt with this by using the cluster bathrooms. If you crave social engagement, seek a cluster room. Cluster rooms and the relationships that they foster are reminiscent of Sitcoms. Otherwise, a room in the halls that lead to the clusters can fit anti-social needs just fine. Finding parking past 10 pm is impossible, I strongly advise against bringing a vehicle in the fall semester. " - 1 year ago

    Chapel Glen

    based on 2 reviews

"An average college student dorm. Chapel (Trapel) Glen is full of people who are in Greek life and love to party. Expect the hallway to smell like bad weed every week, false fire alarms, and quiet hours to be the loudest times of the day. It's a pain to get to classes from Chapel Glen if you walk. The good thing about Chapel Glen is that it is close to the PHC dining hall and campus shuttles. Preferably live lower campus in Kahlert, Lassonde or the Epicenter if you want a more convenient and tame student dorm life." - 10 months ago
