"Elevator was broken a bunch but the hallways and common rooms were always pretty clean. Definitely big enough when there were 2 of us in one room. Bathrooms have a bunch of storage space, but the toilet was put in a stall like a literal public bathroom so that was weird. "

"The Kahlert Village dorms are exceptional. It's the newest dormitory building on Campus and it comes with various amenities, a dining hall on the first floor, Adobe ($ADBE) themed study rooms, meditation rooms, prayer rooms , billards tables, all packed into one massive building conveniently next to the Student Life Center: The Campus Gym. Kahlert is within walking distance of a train that leads to downtown and is the second closest dorm to the University's Union center. One thing I forgot to mention, you can't stay over winter break unless you pay around $1400. that's $1400 for 3 weeks, maybe more. Think about that Skiers.! I expect a recession to occur shortly after writing this so the price may differ drastically. This fee is different from Lassonde, where you don't have to pay to stay over winter break. Also, rooms will be searched during winter break. It is important to mention that there are ADA compliant rooms and they're big, occasionally administered to students who quite frankly are not disabled in anyway, shape, or form. My bathroom that suitemates shared with me and my roommates would fail to flush after one flush, I dealt with this by using the cluster bathrooms. If you crave social engagement, seek a cluster room. Cluster rooms and the relationships that they foster are reminiscent of Sitcoms. Otherwise, a room in the halls that lead to the clusters can fit anti-social needs just fine. Finding parking past 10 pm is impossible, I strongly advise against bringing a vehicle in the fall semester. "

"Pretty easy going place. Meal plans are tricky. The rooms have great water pressure, the WiFi is reliable and they have accessible Ethernet ports. Lots of space to do homework. The washer and dryer are included in housing costs. The elevator in the building is reliable."

"The MHC is definitely one of the best places to live on campus! It is an apartment style dorm that is a 4 roommate shared space or an 8 roommate shared space with 2 floors. It is restricted to upper classmen and Honor students only. Because Kahlert is right across from it, parking is limited and you can park on the small lot or in the garage across the street depending on your parking permit. It is part of lower campus so it is very accessible to the library and walking to class within a 10-20 minute range depending on the building. It is right across the Student Life Center and if you choose to have a meal plan, Kahlert's dining hall is less than a 2 minute walk or you can access the Honors Market on the first floor for an easy snack or meal using your Flex Dollars or Meal Transfers. A meal plan is not required to live in MHC because you have access to a kitchen that you share with your roommates. They offer single and double bedrooms and you share a bathroom with 1 other person. There is a large living room space with a couch and 2 arm chairs as well an island in the kitchen with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and oven + stovetop provided. If you are an honors student, I recommend trying to find a room in the MHC. Truly one of the best apartment dorms and easy for walking to your classes!"
