Wright Quad
based on 2 reviews
"Wright Quad is one of the most central dorms on campus. It is close to Wells Library, GISB, Fine Arts Building, and more. The bus stop is also very close if needed as well. Not to mention it is the cheapest dorm to live at on campus!
What's bad is living at the dorm itself. Wright Quad is one of few dorms that do not have air conditioning. It gets very hot in the warm weather and it gets very uncomfortable. The bathrooms are also not clean at times. The showers are very tight and don't have much room. " - 2 years agoWe collected 2 dorm reviews for Wright Quad

Ashton Center
based on 1 review
"Ashton is easily one of the oldest dorms at IU, if not the oldest. All rooms are singles, so you get your own space, but none come with private bathrooms. Each floor has two communal bathrooms—one for guys and one for girls—with about three shower stalls and three bathroom stalls each. They do get cleaned pretty often, but since the building is so old, they still feel kind of grimy.
Some rooms have a really good view, but most don’t have much to look at. One of the biggest downsides is that there are no elevators, so moving in can be a pain, especially with three floors and a basement. There’s also no proper air circulation—windows don’t open—but they do provide dehumidifiers and air purifiers to help with that.
The rooms themselves are a decent size, each with a twin XL bed. The best part about Ashton is how accessible it is, especially for Kelley students. There’s a bus stop right outside, and since it’s so central, everything on campus is no more than a 10–15 minute walk away, if not less. The SRSC gym is also less than a five-minute walk, which is a huge plus.
One of the best things about Ashton is the social aspect. Since everyone has singles, people tend to hang out outside their rooms, so it’s easy to make friends. A slight downside is that instead of key cards like the other dorms, you get a physical key for your room (though you still use your Crimson Card to enter the building).
Overall, Ashton is definitely old, but the location and community make it a solid place to live." - 1 month agoWe collected 1 dorm reviews for Ashton Center

Teter
based on 3 reviews
"I lived in Teter during the 2021-2022 school year. The location was great for me as it was close to the business school, srsc (gym), and food locations. Another benefit about Teter are the rooms are nice, there is a lounge, and the bathrooms are single private bathrooms that everyone shares. This is nice because you get a little more privacy than a traditional communal bathroom setting." - 2 years ago

"Fun, lively, clean. Room was not the best size compared to more expensive dorms but was a great location. " - 9 months ago

Willkie

"I really enjoyed having a private bathroom (lived in a single w a connecting bathroom). There was a lot of counter space and cabinet space to keep everything I needed in the bathroom, along with a really nice window, without having to worry about storage space." - 1 year ago

Briscoe
based on 1 review
"I lived in Briscoe during my 2021-22 first year at IU. Briscoe is an excellent place to live on campus. My room set-up was spacious, open, and included an AC system and natural daylight — many different Briscoe room configurations available for roommates, suitemates, and private dorms. Additionally, the bathroom situation is very convenient, with every room having a private or semi-private bathroom. Other areas include the Briscoe lounge, on-site academic resources, the campus bus stop, and the McNutt dining hall, which is just a short walk away. Near Briscoe is the Kelley School of Business, O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA), and the Godfrey Graduate and Education Executive Center. Finally, I met many great new friends on my floor just by talking to them and participating in floor activities. Overall, I would recommend Briscoe as a great place to stay on campus!" - 2 years ago
