There is NO AC!! The heating system is super old so the temperatures are always really extreme, no matter what season it is. Rooms are all diff sizes and you have no control over which room you get. There is one communal kitchen for the whole building - 2 ovens/stoves and 1 microwave. Laundry is in the basement and it’s always full, it’s an annoying deal to do laundry.Bathrooms/trash don’t get cleaned on the weekend. Bathrooms have no shelf space and are communal. Dining hall is gross and not worth the money. However living in this area is really convenient. There is a bus stop for almost every bus right outside the front door. I lived in an expanded triple. There was no air conditioning, but it was only bad for the first few weeks in the fall. I liked the layout of the halls being H-shaped with the elevators and bathrooms in between. It kinda made it hard to meet others, but I later found out my floor was way less social than other floors. Beds were fine, but I also had a mattress topper from Target. The dining hall was good, better than most on campus. It has been renovated since I lived in Sanford. They also have a C-store which is like a mini convenience store. I definitely used my flexdine on Ben and Jerry's from there.
