Pros: - For double rooms, only have to share bathroom with one other room (so total of 4 people to a bathroom) - Nice view of the city and the Mississippi from some rooms and the lounges - Has two practice rooms (one with a piano), a couple of study rooms, and a pool table - Great location if you are in Carlson or have other West Bank classes - Quieter environment that is usually good for studying; still plenty of opportunities to meet people though with various floor events and groups Cons: - Many reports of cockroaches, especially in the upper floors - Printers worked rarely - Not an ideal location if you have classes in St. Paul - Washing machines are small and laundry area gets busy during the weekends - Dining hall is meh; if you ...

Location isn’t as bad as it seems, and honestly is a nice place. The layout of each floor is a huge plus since it’s almost impossible to not meet people and see people as you go from your room down the elevators. Middlebrook is getting new elevators for the 2020 school year- so that’ll be a huge plus. Overall nerdy, but nice dorm. Bathrooms are also shared with your neighbor next to your room and are cleaned by staff so it’s the best bathroom situation at the U imo.

Bathrooms were semi-private and across the hall (one for every two rooms / 4 people). Location: This is the only dorm on west bank, so you have to walk a bit if you have most of your classes on east bank, but it’s not too far. You will be nearby to the arts, music, and social science buildings as well as the business school. Community: Floor had a large common area. Quieter than many other dorm...
